A new home for Bell & Colvill. An old home for the 1985 Excel they sold new. And a Club Lotus 70th anniversary day that got both exactly right.
There were two homecomings on Sunday, and it is difficult to say which was the more affecting.
The first was Bell & Colvill's. The Horsley chapter has closed and the sales operation has now moved to join the rest of the business at Guildford, and on paper that is the sort of thing that makes enthusiasts nervous - a famous address swapped for an industrial estate.
