Glorious Gardens & Great Drive-Outs
Well what can we say about our April drive-out, except wow. We had a fantastic display of 22 Lotus cars at the White Rabbit Hotel and at Exbury Gardens. The White Rabbit Hotel had reserved us our own area and the room was soon buzzing with chatter. The drive was a scenic run through the New Forest, which is at its most beautiful when the early leaves of Spring are on the trees. When we arrived at Exbury Gardens we had a large section of car park just for Lotus parking. The gardens were spectacular, with rhododendrons, camellias and azaleas in abundance. The courtyard cafe was a lovely spot to sit and have lunch and to return to later in the afternoon for tea and cake.
