Our annual May Bank Holiday track day at Castle Combe is one of the most enjoyable events in the Club calendar – a great Club Lotus day out, and exceptional value for a safe, well-run track day held exclusively for our members and their club-eligible cars.
Castle Combe is among the friendliest of UK race circuits, with a superb, smooth, fast-flowing 1.85-mile layout and excellent facilities for drivers and spectators alike. The circuit strictly enforces its Friday-evening rules on our behalf: no race cars, transporters or motor homes are permitted in the paddock after 17:00 on Friday 22 May.
Public admission is free. Whether you’re driving, spectating, catching up with friends or simply spending the day surrounded by great cars and fellow enthusiasts, you’re welcome.
Track driving package – £120
Your £120 entry guarantees two 15-minute sessions on circuit from 09:00, in rotation with fellow drivers. Once all guaranteed sessions have run, we move to open pit lane – typically from 14:00 to 14:30 – at which point you’re free to go out as many times as you wish until the circuit closes at 17:00.
Eligibility
Open to current Club Lotus members only. Eligible cars include any Lotus, classic or current – Elan, Europa, Esprit, Elite, Eclat, Excel, Elise, Exige, Evora, Emira and the latest electric era – together with Club Lotus-eligible marques: Caterham, Westfield, Tiger, Birkin and other Seven-derived cars, and Vauxhall VX220. Drivers must hold a current Club Lotus membership at the time of the event, a full UK or equivalent driving licence, and be aged 18 or over. Cars must be road-legal, taxed, insured, and presented in safe mechanical condition. Helmets are mandatory; long sleeves and long trousers are strongly recommended.
Noise regulations – please read before booking
Castle Combe operates strict noise limits: 100 dB(A) on the static test and 87 dB(A) drive-by on track. The circuit’s testing environment is known to read higher than other venues, and cars that have passed elsewhere have been refused at Combe. If your car runs an aftermarket or decatted exhaust, please satisfy yourself of compliance before booking. Drivers who fail testing will not be permitted on track, and the circuit’s refund policy (not the Club’s) will apply.
Booking
Online bookings close at 12:30 on Thursday 21 May 2026. After that, booking is available by telephone until 17:00 on Thursday 21 May 2026 on 01362 691144 or 01362 694459.
You must be a current Club Lotus member to purchase a track driving package. Your membership number will be requested at checkout and verified before your place is confirmed. If your membership has lapsed, please renew before booking.
All bookings will be confirmed by email once membership has been verified and your place allocated.
Cancellation
Cancellations received in writing more than 28 days before the event: full refund less administrative fee. Within 28 days: no refund, but places may be transferred to another current Club Lotus member at the driver’s own arrangement, subject to notification to the Club by 20 May 2026. The event will proceed in all weather short of conditions deemed unsafe by the circuit; circuit closure for reasons outside the Club’s control is not refundable by the Club.
